Getting started with a new prototype has never been easier!

Radome
Radome refers often to a structural, weatherproof enclosure that protects microwave antennas from the effects of environmental exposure. Radome material allows a relatively unattenuated electromagnetic signal between the antenna, radome and equipment outside.
In addition, radomes can be used in scanning devices where ultra-low loss and constant sheet quality in terms of dielectrics is needed. PREPERM® material was chosen for Microsystems' revolutionary security scanner due to its superior qualities.
Lenses in radar rain sensors
PREPERM® is the optimal choice for lenses because of ultra low losses and tailored dielectric properties.
German weather sensor technology company Lufft uses PREPERM® in its radar rain sensor. The PREPERM® lens narrows the antenna beam optimally and thus the measurement of precipitation quantity is accurate and reliable.
